ประกาศขออภัย:หลวงปู่ครูบาธรรมมุนี | คมชัดลึก

              ตามที่หนังสือพิมพ์ คมชัดลึก ฉบับวันพฤหัสบดี ที่ 7 กรกฎาคม 2554 ตีพิมพ์ข่าวในหัวข้อ
“ช้างวัดป่าล้มอีก โซไรดาจี้สอบหวั่นทำอด” โดยอ้างคำให้สัมภาษณ์ของนางสาวโซไรดา         ซาลวาลา เลขาธิการมูลนิธิเพื่อนช้าง มีข้อความโดยสรุปในใจความสำคัญว่าหลวงปู่ครูบาธรรมมุนี ซึ่งอ้างว่าเลี้ยงช้างไว้เพื่อเป็นการช่วยเหลือช้างไทยนั้น ขัดกับความเป็นจริง
   
              ความจริงไม่มีการเลี้ยงอย่างเอาใจใส่ไม่มีน้ำและอาหารอย่างพอเพียง ทำให้ช้างอดอยากผอมแห้ง ล้มป่วยและล้มลงในที่สุด อีกทั้งพระรูปนี้ก็นิยมเรื่องเครื่องรางของขลัง จึงเกรงว่าจะเป็นการกระทำที่ตั้งใจให้ช้างล้ม เพื่อนำงาไปทำเครื่องรางของขลังออกขาย ทั้งนี้นางสาวโซไรดา ซาลวาลา ได้รับแจ้งจากประชาชนตามหน้าที่ปกติของมูลนิธิ
   
              หนังสือพิมพ์คมชัดลึก ได้ตรวจสอบข้อเท็จจริงแล้ว ปรากฎว่าหลวงปู่ครูบาธรรมมุนีมิได้มีพฤติกรรมตามที่ข้อกล่าวหาดังกล่าวแต่อย่างใด ตรงกันข้ามหลวงปู่ครูบาธรรมมุนี ได้เลี้ยงช้างด้วยความเมตตา ดำรงวัตรปฎิบัติในครรลองของพระพุทธศาสนาอย่างเคร่งครัด เป็นที่เคารพศรัทธาของชาวบ้านโดยทั่วไป
   
              หนังสือพิมพ์คมชัดลึก จึงประกาศขออภัยหลวงปู่ครูบาธรรมมุนี มา ณ ที่นี้ และขอนมัสการขอบพระคุณ ท่านหลวงปู่ครูบาธรรมมุนีที่เมตตาไม่ติดใจเอาความข้าพเจ้าทั้งคดีแพ่งและคดีอาญาต่อไป

Apology Notification
   
              According to the head news of Kom Chad Luk newspaper on the date of 7th July 2011 indicated that “Elephants in temple has withered and dead Soraida rushes, worried about missing” from the interview of Soraida Salwala, the secretary of  the Friends of Asian Elephants. The point of it revealed that Thai monk, Kruba Tammamunee, who had taken care of Thai elephants for moral was fake. 
   
              The detail showed that the elephants were treated badly without sufficient food or water. They were gaunt and frail, then gradually dead. Moreover, this monk seemed to concentrate on occult amulets, so, he might intentionally leave them to be dead to make used of their ivory. Soraida reported as people had informed and as a staff of the FAE.
   
              However, Kom Chad luk has already inspected the fact and discovered that Kruba Tammamunee has been on good precepts without such bad behavior. He treats those elephants with compasstion and has been worshipped by many people.
   
              Kom Chad Luk would like to apologize to Kruba Tammamunee for that false information. Meanwhile, we would like to thank for the kindheartedness to do not make a prosecution neither a civil case or a criminal case.
