บินกลับแอลเอไม่ถึง 15 ชั่วโมง แม่โทรมาบอกว่าคุณยายเสียแล้ว บินไฟลต์แรกกลับมาเลย ใจสลาย เหมือนมีส่วนหนึ่งของหัวใจถูกตัดไป I still can’t believe how fast you said goodbye. I love you, Khun Yai. There is no other way to describe you but as this healing and loving light. You lit up our lives, and we are so lucky to have had you.

We were always so excited when we were reunited, and I always cried when I had to leave. Every time I left your house, I would watch you wave goodbye and cry — but I always knew I could come back soon. This time, I don’t know where to go when I think of you. I’m not ready for you to leave. My heart hurts so much.
If I could describe what unconditional love felt like, it was because of you. Sometimes I would arrive at the farm broken, and somehow you fixed it with just a hug and a smile.

 

Most people don’t get to grow up in the same household as their grandparents. I was so lucky that I did. All of us sleeping in one small room — eight people.
