"ลากูน่า ภูเก็ต" รับรางวัลสนามแข่งขันกีฬายอดเยี่ยม
การประกาศรางวัลสุดยอดแห่งวงการกีฬาเอเชีย “SPIA Asia 2018” จัดโดยบริษัท เอ็มเอ็มซี สปอร์ทส์ โดยความร่วมมือจากกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬา, การกีฬาแห่งประเทศไทย, การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย, สำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ และสมาพันธ์ฟุตบอลเอเชีย โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อสนับสนุนการเติบโตและการนำไปสู่การปฏิบัติที่สัมฤทธิ์ผลให้กับวงการกีฬาทั่วเอเชีย ปีนี้มีผู้ร่วมงานกว่า 400 คน จากกว่า 47 ประเทศ โดยงานจัดขึ้น ณ ห้องเวิลด์บอลรูม ชั้น 23 โรงแรมเซ็นทารา แกรนด์ แอท เซ็นทรัลเวิลด์ กรุงเทพฯ
SPIA Asia เป็นงานมอบรางวัลความเป็นสุดยอดในวงการกีฬาทั้งในด้านผู้นำ ความเป็นเลิศขององค์กร สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก และแคมเปญระดับชั้นนำของวงการกีฬาเพื่อผลักดันให้เกิดการเติบโตและพัฒนาของการกีฬาทั่วภูมิภาคเอเชียในรอบปีที่ผ่านมา สำหรับในปีนี้มีการมอบรางวัลทั้งหมด 20 รางวัล โดยแบ่งเป็น 16 รางวัลระดับเอเชีย และสำหรับประเทศไทยโดยเฉพาะ 4 รางวัล
รางวัลสำหรับประเทศไทย จำนวน 4 รางวัล ผู้ได้รับรางวัลได้แก่ รางวัลสถานที่/สนามแข่งขันกีฬา หรือ ศูนย์ฝึกยอดเยี่ยม (Best Sport Event Venue in Thailand)
